To Apply for Admission:
To request an application for Admission, please contact
Tony Brill. If your child is currently
enrolled in a parochial elementary school, the completed admission packet information
should be returned at the time your child takes the placement test. Placement
tests are already scheduled at their schools. If your child is a public or
other private school student, placement tests are held regularly at Lancaster Catholic
High School. Contact us for dates and times. Completed admission packets should
be returned to the school at that time.
Transfer Students
Admission for transfer students requires a personal interview of the student
and parents with school representatives to determine their willingness to support
Catholic values, support school policies and take an active interest in all school
activities. The specific criteria for transfers can be obtained from the school
Admissions Office.

Placement Exams
The completed Admissions materials must be turned in when the prospective
student takes the placement exam. All students in the Catholic elementary schools
will take the exam regardless of which high school they are planning on attending.
The exam is scheduled for the following schools and dates:
March 1, 2008 - 8 a.m. - Lancaster Catholic High School Library
Students should bring several #2 pencils with them. The use of calculators is not
permitted during the exam. We realize that some material may be missing from the
application because grades or standardized test materials may be incomplete. When
these materials are in hand, please forward them to the high school. The Parochial
elementary schools will automatically forward all report cards and test results
to us. Students who attend public schools or other private schools will need to
request these documents.
The results of the placement exam are used to create an academic schedule for incoming
students. Elementary school principals as well as parents will receive the test
results. You are not obligated to enroll just by returning the Admissions packet.
Information on Financial Aid and Tuition will be discussed at the Parent’s Meeting.
Questions concerning enrollment and tuition may be directed to the Advancement Office
at LCHS at (717) 509-0313. |
